Working example, built for The Tank Man

Reschedule a visit without calling the same line a new lead calls

The Tank Man runs recurring Weekly, Bi-Weekly, and Monthly aquarium maintenance routes, but today every one of those regular clients has to book, confirm, or reschedule a visit through the same inbox or phone number a first-time caller would use. This is a prototype of a client-facing alternative: an existing route client sees their next visit and reschedules it in a couple of clicks, gets an automated route-day reminder with a one-tap reschedule link, and a first-time visitor asking about service lands in a separate, clearly labeled inquiry form instead of the same queue.

Everything on this page is a fictional sample account and fictional visit data. No real client names, addresses, prices, or schedule data from The Tank Man are used here. A public website or Google Business listing for this business could not be located during research, so the plan structure (Weekly / Bi-Weekly / Monthly) and the single-inbox booking gap shown below are taken directly from the description in the outreach email sent to thetankman05@yahoo.com, not from a public listing. This prototype is not connected to that inbox, phone number, or any live system.

One tap here is the same action a client would take from the reschedule link in the automated reminder - no call to the shop line required.

Illustrative text/email sent automatically ahead of each route-day visit, tied to that client's own schedule.

Tapping the link in a real build opens this same client's "Upcoming visit" view, pre-authenticated, so rescheduling never requires finding the shop's phone number or waiting for a callback.

This form is intentionally separate from the route-client view above. A first-time visitor filling this out never touches an existing client's schedule, and an existing client rescheduling never gets funneled into a new-lead queue - today both go through the same inbox and phone number.

Grounded in what the outreach itself established

The gap comes from the offer, not a guess. The email sent to this inbox on 2026-08-20 states directly: "the only way any of those clients can book, confirm, or reschedule a visit is emailing thetankman05@yahoo.com or one phone number, the same channel a brand-new lead would use." That single sentence is the entire scope of this prototype: separate the two flows and give the recurring client self-service.
No public site or review profile was found. Searches for "The Tank Man" / "thetankman05" aquarium maintenance did not surface a working website, Google Business page, or Yelp listing distinct from unrelated businesses of similar names, and no owner name could be confirmed. Nothing on this page claims a review count, service area, or pricing beyond what the outreach email itself described (Weekly / Bi-Weekly / Monthly plans, recurring routes).
What a real build adds. A production version would connect to whichever calendar or route system the business already uses, send real SMS/email reminders through a provider like Twilio or Postmark, and authenticate each client to their own account rather than the sample picker shown here.
