Working example, built for Sunrise Laundry Services

Order and schedule without a phone call

Sunrise's own site, and the owners' own words in last year's acquisition coverage, describe every order and pickup running through phone or email, with a customer-facing app promised but not yet live. This is a prototype of that portal: pick a client account, place an order sized to what that account actually buys, schedule collection or delivery across either site, and see order history and usage in one place.

Everything on this page is a fictional sample account, fictional order data, and an illustrative per-item rate. Sunrise Laundry Services' real client list, real pricing, and real operational data are never used here. This prototype is not connected to Sunrise's phone lines, email, or any live system.

Grounded in what's actually published

The gap, in Sunrise's own words. Covering the August 2025 acquisition of the former XL Cleaning Services site on Nantwich Road, Crewe Nub News quoted the owners directly: "Our customers will also be able to request a pick up or delivery simply by using our app." A year on, no such app is listed on the App Store or Play Store, and the live site (sunriselaundryservices.co.uk) still routes every order through phone or email only, confirmed by checking the homepage, the care/residential-homes page, and the site's own testimonials.
Two real sites, coordinated by phone. The Gateway Industrial Estate site and the newly acquired Nantwich Road site are both independently confirmed (Crewe Nub News, August 2025). This prototype's scheduling tab treats "which site" as a first-class choice, since a self-serve portal for a two-site operation needs that distinction that a single phone line doesn't naturally surface.
Client types match their own site, not invented segments. Hotels, care/residential homes (branded "ResiCare"), restaurants, retail, industrial/warehousing, holiday lettings and events are the sectors Sunrise's own site markets to. The account list on this page uses fictional business names, but the account types are real client categories Sunrise names for itself.
What a real build adds. A production version would connect to whichever system Sunrise's team actually uses for order intake and delivery routing (or replace the current phone/email intake with this portal directly), add authentication per client account, and use Sunrise's real published rates rather than the placeholder figures shown in the usage tab.
