Working example, built for Florida Family Pools (Lautenschlager Pools LLC)
Flag the warranty ticket that's gone quiet and the company-caused charge before either one reaches a customer as silence or a disputed invoice
Your site runs a dedicated page promising your warranty program "commits to responding promptly to covered claims, helping homeowners avoid lengthy downtime and extra expense" and "transparent communication." Three separate BBB complaints (Feb 2024 to Oct 2025) describe the opposite in practice: a paver-and-tile defect where the customer describes "nothing but crickets for around a month" and "no one has come to fix issue," a pool-siting and failed-electrical-inspection case where the company "ignored our calls" on a promised warranty repair while charging the customer $3,500 for a repositioning caused by the company's own siting error, and an October 2025 move-in complaint describing a non-functional pool, multiple leaks, a fried electrical board, and communication described flatly as "Nonexistent." Below is a small, working version of the alert layer that would have caught all three before a customer had to file a formal complaint: a warranty-ticket flag for tickets going too long without a logged site visit, a sign-off gate on any charge tied to a company-caused defect, and an aging tracker for open credit or refund promises.
What's real: the "Superior Warranties" page language above is quoted directly from your own site. The three complaints and their quotes are drawn from your BBB complaint record. Your own "Meet the Team" page lists a dedicated Warranty Specialist, a Director of Operations, and Finance Operations roles, so this isn't a company with no warranty process, it's a process with no systematic flag for a stalled ticket or a re-charge tied to your own error before it reaches BBB. A direct fetch of your homepage, /about/, /contact/, and /our-team/ pages found no signature of any client-portal or field-service platform (Buildertrend, JobTread, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar), and no client-portal link anywhere on the public site. At least one directly verified Sarasota-area competitor, Alpha & Omega Pool Builders, markets a live JobTread client portal giving customers real-time updates on communications, schedule, progress, and cost tracking. Your two locations, the Sarasota headquarters and the Waterside Sales Center, are both taken from your own site.
What's illustrative: every customer name, ticket, charge, and credit below is a fictional example built to show the same shape as your documented complaint pattern, not a real Florida Family Pools customer, job, or billing record. Nothing here is connected to a live system.
Open warranty tickets
Open credit & refund promises, both locations
What I'd flag before this goes anywhere near a real job
The 14-day no-visit stall threshold and 14-day credit/refund overdue threshold are placeholders. A real build uses whatever response-time commitment your Warranty Specialist and Director of Operations actually want to hold the office to.
This is an alert layer, not a new system of record. It sits alongside however warranty tickets, site visits, and invoices already get tracked across the Sarasota HQ and the Waterside Sales Center, it doesn't replace scheduling, permitting, or your existing Finance Operations workflow.
The charge sign-off gate only catches one mistake. Sending an invoice or re-charge tied to a company-caused defect, a failed inspection, a mis-sited excavation, before someone internally reviews it. It doesn't touch estimating, contracts, or payment processing.
The underlying construction-quality issues aren't something this tool fixes. A misaligned paver, a siting error, or a failed inspection is a workmanship or process problem. This tool only closes the gap where the follow-up, or the charge tied to the mistake, goes unnoticed by the office until a customer escalates.
