Auskeeper Cleaning: a booking only reads "Confirmed" once a cleaner has actually accepted it

Public reviews of Auskeeper Cleaning describe the same pattern surfacing roughly a year apart: a customer is told their booking is "confirmed," no cleaner ever shows up on the day, and no one calls to explain what happened. The company's site currently takes bookings through a contact form with a date and time field, so "confirmed" most likely just means a reply email went out, not that any cleaner actually agreed to be there. This example shows one small, working tool built directly around that gap: a booking cannot show as "Confirmed" until a cleaner has logged their own acceptance of the job, and a booking still unaccepted as its appointment window approaches gets flagged automatically instead of quietly sitting there labeled as if everything were fine.

Public customer reviews of Auskeeper Cleaning describe two separate bookings, close to a year apart, where the booking had been marked "confirmed" but no cleaner arrived on the scheduled day and the customer received no call explaining why. Auskeeper's own site currently books appointments through a simple contact form with a date and time field, which suggests a "confirmed" booking is set the moment a reply goes out, before any cleaner has actually agreed to attend. This is framed as the documented pattern the tool below is built to prevent going forward, not as a claim about any single booking. The fix isn't "reply to bookings faster," it's removing the gap where "confirmed" can be shown to a customer with nothing behind it: a booking only becomes Confirmed once a specific cleaner has logged acceptance, a day-before reminder goes out to the customer automatically once that happens, and any booking still unaccepted as its window approaches is flagged for the office instead of silently staying labeled "confirmed."

Booking-confirmation & dispatch-acknowledgement board

A new booking starts as Pending. It can only move to Confirmed after a specific cleaner is assigned and logs their own acceptance, at which point a day-before reminder is queued for the customer automatically. A booking that is still unaccepted as its appointment window gets close is flagged automatically, instead of ever being shown to a customer as "confirmed" by default.

How this gets built for real

Cleaner acceptance here is a manual button; a real build pushes the ask to the cleaner directly. A text or app notification the cleaner taps to accept, so "confirmed" always traces back to a specific person agreeing, not office staff assuming on their behalf.
The day-before reminder is simulated here. A real build sends it automatically by SMS or email the moment acceptance is logged, and can also nudge the customer to reply if they need to reschedule.
The unaccepted-window flag is a simple time comparison. A real build can push that flag straight to a dispatcher's screen (or a text to the office) well before the appointment, not just show it here, so a gap gets caught days ahead instead of on the morning of.
This sits in front of whatever already takes bookings. It can read the same contact-form or calendar submissions Auskeeper already receives; it does not replace how a booking comes in, it just makes sure "confirmed" always means a cleaner said yes.
