Template, not built for a specific business

Every deduction on a published price list, every statement out before the clock runs out

Property managers that already run a capable back-office platform still tend to write move-out deduction statements by hand: a free-text note describing what was charged and why, put together after a manager walks the unit. That manual step is where disputes start, a charge that doesn't match a published price, a statement that goes out after the state's return deadline has already passed. This page shows one small, working tool that closes that gap: a standardized per-item fee schedule, a checklist that turns a move-out inspection into a line-itemized statement automatically, and a day-count tracker against the state-mandated deadline so a statement goes out on time by default.

Everything below is fictional. When this gets built for a real business, it reads from whatever already captures the move-out inspection, a property-management platform's inspection module, a paper checklist, a tablet app, and adds the fee schedule, the itemized statement, and the deadline tracker on top, without replacing how the inspection itself happens.

How this gets built for real

The fee schedule is illustrative. A real build uses the business's own published per-item price list, not these sample amounts, and keeps every charge consistent with it automatically instead of leaving it to whoever writes the statement that day.
The photo reference here is a text field. A real build attaches the actual timestamped inspection photos already stored in whatever platform the business uses, it does not require a new place to store them.
The deadline is configurable per state. This demo defaults to 21 days for illustration; a real build uses whatever statutory window applies where the business operates.
