The moment equipment leaves a patient's home, billing should already know.
A warehouse or delivery team picks up or takes back a piece of equipment, but that fact lives in one person's head or a paper ticket, not in the billing system. Weeks or months later the customer is still being charged, calls to dispute it, and the office cannot find any record the pickup ever happened. This page shows a small, working tool that closes that gap: a place for field staff to log every pickup, return, or delivery the moment it happens, which automatically raises a billing hold on that patient and equipment pairing until someone in billing clears it, plus a search so billing can instantly answer "do we have a record of that" instead of guessing.
Everything below is fictional. When this gets built for a real business, the field-log view is what warehouse or delivery staff actually use on a phone or tablet at the point of pickup, and the billing-hold logic connects to whatever billing system already runs the recurring charges, it does not replace that system.

Active billing holds
Every logged pickup or return automatically raises a hold here, stopping the recurring charge from being taken for granted until someone in billing has actually looked at it.

How this gets built for real
This is a bridge, not a replacement. It sits between field operations and whatever billing platform already runs recurring charges, and only needs to push one signal: stop billing this patient for this equipment until cleared.
The field-log form is the whole point. It has to be fast enough that a driver or warehouse worker actually fills it out at the truck or the door, a barcode or serial scan can replace most of the typing in a real build.
Clearing a hold is a deliberate billing action, not automatic. The tool raises the flag, a person in billing still decides when the account is actually settled.
