Independent work sample · built for BH Garage Door (bhgaragedoor.net)

A price you sign off on before the truck rolls, and a status you can check on a custom door without calling

BH Garage Door's online booking widget already lets a customer pick a two-hour arrival window, that part works well and isn't touched here. What's still missing, visible in three BBB complaints since January 2024, is a written price the customer agrees to before work starts or gets billed, and a way to check on a full-door order or backordered part without it going quiet for weeks. This page shows both pieces working end to end, with sample jobs, not BH Garage Door's real customers or real prices.

Everything below is fictional. Sample technicians, sample customers, sample jobs. The service categories, pricing structure, and complaint pattern are shaped by BH Garage Door's own published service list and its BBB complaint history, described in plain terms in the "How this gets built for real" section below; nothing here reads or writes any of BH Garage Door's actual data.

Order status: full-door installs & backordered parts

This is the piece a customer currently has to call for. A custom door order runs weeks, not minutes, so it gets its own status flow separate from the booking widget's same-day scheduling: enter an order number below.

How this gets built for real

Built around what BH Garage Door already has, not a replacement. The existing "Book Online" arrival-window flow on bhgaragedoor.net stays exactly as is. A real build adds the estimate sign-off as a step inside the technician's existing job workflow, and the order tracker as one new page linked from the site, on whatever platform the site already runs on.
The service list mirrors what BH Garage Door itself advertises. Springs, cables, panels, tracks, openers, remotes/keypads, and full door installs, taken from the company's own site; the categories and sample prices above are illustrative, not their real price list.
The order tracker targets the specific gap in their BBB record. One complaint on file describes a full-door order promised in 3-4 weeks that ran over two months with, in the customer's own words, no email, call, or text update the whole time. The stage tracker and update log above are what makes that visible to the customer without them having to call and ask.
"Signed" here is a typed name and a timestamp. A real build can use an actual e-signature provider if BH Garage Door wants a stronger legal record; this demo shows the workflow, not a specific vendor.
