Independent work sample, built for one real business
The Window Depot: a warranty ticket doesn't close until the customer says it's done
The install work itself is well regarded: The Window Depot has been BBB Accredited since 2012 with an A+ rating and no Pattern of Complaints alert, and has run continuously in Tampa, Palm Harbor and Fort Myers since 2009. The gap shows up after the sale, once something needs a warranty repair, a backordered part, or a punch-list item finished: three of the four complaints on the company's own BBB file describe calls and texts going unanswered for weeks with no proactive update on a delayed part or an unfinished item, and independently-found Yelp and Angi review language describes the identical pattern in different customers' own words ("never called back," "severe lack of communication from the sales rep"), with one reviewer separately praising a specific staff member for responding promptly, showing this is a coverage gap rather than a universal trait. Below is a working tool sized to close that specific gap: every open ticket gets a visible status, and closing a ticket for good requires the customer's own timestamped confirmation instead of the office marking it done on its own.

Log a new ticket
A real build reads the reference code from The Window Depot's existing work order or warranty claim number, not a new code invented here.
Open queue, most overdue first
Check the status of a ticket
Try TWD-1001, TWD-1002, TWD-1003 or TWD-1004 from the office view's sample queue. TWD-1002 is marked "action completed" and is waiting on the customer's own confirmation, try confirming it here.
How this gets built for real
Closeout needs the customer, not just the office. Once staff mark the promised action done (part delivered, punch-list item finished, warranty repair completed), the ticket moves to "awaiting your confirmation" and only the customer's own click on the status page, timestamped, closes it for good. Nothing here lets the office close a ticket unilaterally.
The reference code is whatever the office already uses. A real build reads from an existing work order or warranty claim number instead of inventing a new one for the customer to remember.
The customer view shows only customer-safe wording. Internal notes typed in the office view never appear on the lookup page.
