Working example, built for American Gutter Cleaning & Installations

A photo and timestamp for every visit, tied to the invoice

Two BBB complaints filed in December 2023 point at the same gap: customers billed for a gutter cleaning with no way to confirm the visit actually happened, one of which led to $3,000 in water damage before it was caught. The company's own BBB response noted it couldn't produce service records to settle the dispute either way. This working example shows the fix: a technician can't mark a job complete and send it to invoicing without a photo and an automatic timestamp attached, and any job missing one stays flagged as a visible, open follow-up instead of quietly becoming a "you never came" dispute months later.

No real American Gutter customer data, job records, or proprietary information is used anywhere on this page.

Open follow-ups

This is the piece that was missing when the December 2023 BBB complaints went unresolved: a job with no photo on file stays visibly open here, held from invoicing, until someone attaches proof or resolves it directly with the customer.

Gutter cleaning, gutter caps, gutter screensLive, matches site copy
24/7 online booking (offered by regional competitor Gutter Cowboy)Not available on americangutter.net, phone/email only

americangutter.net currently routes every booking through a phone call or an email to mail@americangutter.net during business hours. A production build could pair this proof-of-service log with a lightweight self-serve scheduling form, so the gap against competitors offering 24/7 booking closes at the same time as the records gap.

How this gets built for real

Plugs into the existing crew workflow. Technicians already finish a job and move to the next stop; this adds one required photo step on their phone before the job can be marked complete, it doesn't replace how the crew works today.
The record becomes the answer to a dispute, not a guess. Instead of a BBB response saying records can't be produced either way, a timestamped photo tied to the invoice settles it in either direction, for the customer or for the company.
