Independent work sample, built for one real business

Infinity Water Systems: a real slot to book, and a written price before anything gets charged

Infinity Water Systems is a 38-year, A+ BBB-accredited, authorized Kinetico dealer serving the greater Houston area, generally well reviewed for install quality. Its own site (checked homepage, contact page, and full sitemap) routes every water test, service call, and billing question through a phone line and one generic contact form, no online scheduling and no account or ticket status anywhere. A named local competitor, Culligan of Houston, already offers a real date-and-time-slot picker for a free water test on its own site. Separately, Infinity's public BBB complaint record shows three detailed disputes: a quoted price that changed twice after the fact, a recurring leak that needed repeat calls before it was resolved, and an installation issue attributed to a communication gap with the sales team. This example shows the same two tools from the general template, tuned to that gap.

All customer names, tickets, technicians, and dollar amounts inside the tool below are fictional and clearly for illustration only. The business description, dealer status, and complaint pattern are drawn from the company's own published site, its BBB profile, and Kinetico's official dealer directory.

Infinity's public BBB complaints subpage lists three detailed disputes dated Oct-Nov 2024: a Nov 26 pricing dispute where a customer was quoted $140, charged $149, then later told $195; a Nov 20 complaint about a leak that recurred six months after a May 2024 repair, resolved only after repeated calls; and an Oct 11 installation-damage complaint attributed to "lack of communication from a sales representative," resolved only once the General Manager personally intervened. Separately, a named local competitor, Culligan of Houston, already offers a real date-picker and 30-minute time-slot scheduling for a free water test on its own site, something Infinity's own site does not have anywhere. Infinity is a genuinely well-reviewed company overall (4.0-4.6 out of 5 across Birdeye, Google, HomeAdvisor and Angi, A+ BBB rating, 38 years in business), so this is framed as tightening an already-good operation at real scale, not a business in crisis. None of this is presented as proof of intent; it is the documented pattern the tools below are built to prevent going forward, by giving a customer a real slot to book and a written price they can point back to.

1. Self-service booking calendar

Matches what Culligan of Houston, a named local competitor, already offers: a real date-and-time-slot picker, here for a free water test or a service call, instead of Infinity's current single generic contact form.

Hours and days shown are illustrative for this example. A real build uses Infinity's own published service hours, which were not found written out on their current site.

2. Service ticket & price-confirmation tracker

Directly targets the three BBB complaints: a leak or billing question becomes a visible ticket with an assigned technician and ETA, and no ticket can be marked billed until a price has been confirmed in writing here, the exact step that was missing when a quoted $140 became $149, then $195.

How this gets built for real

The calendar is a standalone log here. A real build reads and writes whatever schedule Infinity's own techs already use, sitting in front of the existing Gravity Forms contact flow rather than replacing it, so staff see one schedule, not a second one to keep in sync.
Booking confirmation is on-screen and in local storage only. A real build sends an actual confirmation email or text and can be embedded directly into the existing WordPress/Elementor site.
The price-confirmation gate is a field, not a payment system. It only needs to record one thing per ticket: has the customer been given a written price, and what was it, so that number is checkable if a dispute like the $140/$149/$195 one ever comes up again.
